Day 1 : Arrival in Salta - Immerse Yourself in the Heart of the City

Transfers from your Buenos Aires hotel (Central hotels) to the airport and Airfare from Buenos Aires to Salta (If Flight option is selected)

Welcome to Salta, La linda! Please, you should arrive no later than 2:00 pm.

Our designated transfer will welcome you to Salta and provide comfortable transportation from the airport to your 4-star hotel.

In the afternoon, get ready for a charming tour of Salta. Our guide will pick you up from your hotel, and you will explore the city's most captivating sites. Stroll through the charming streets of the historic center, stopping to admire iconic landmarks such as the majestic Salta Cathedral, the elegant San Francisco Church, and the lively Plaza 9 de Julio. You’ll immerse yourself in the rich history of the city, its vibrant culture, and impressive architecture. Scend Cerro San Bernardo by cable car for sweeping views that will leave you breathless.

Day 2 : Full day excursion to the Train to the Clouds

Today is a free day in Salta, ideal to explore at your own rhythm, relax in the colonial plazas, or simply enjoy the city’s atmosphere.

If you wish to add an extraordinary adventure, you may join the Train to the Clouds excursion (Optional not included), one of Argentina’s most emblematic experiences. The day starts early with a transfer to the bus station and a stop at El Alfarcito, where you’ll be welcomed with a traditional countryside breakfast surrounded by mountain scenery. The journey continues through winding Andean roads until reaching San Antonio de los Cobres, where the legendary train awaits. As it climbs to 4,220 meters above sea level, the ride unveils breathtaking views of viaducts, endless plains, and tunnels carved into the mountains. After the experience, there is free time in San Antonio de los Cobres to enjoy the town and savor a regional lunch (not included) before returning to Salta in the evening.

Day 3 : Full-Day Excursion to Quebrada de Humahuaca - Explore a UNESCO World Heritage Site

Experience the essence of northern Argentina in comfort and style as you journey through the iconic Quebrada de Humahuaca, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where dramatic landscapes and timeless culture converge. Begin your day in the charming village of Purmamarca, nestled at the foot of the mesmerizing Hill of Seven Colors—an awe-inspiring display of natural artistry shaped by centuries of geological history.

Continue to Tilcara, steeped in pre-Columbian heritage, and then to Huacalera, where you’ll symbolically cross the Tropic of Capricorn. In Uquía, discover a hidden gem: a colonial church that houses the striking Arcabucero Angels, rare works of Cusco School art.

Arrive in the historic town of Humahuaca, nearly 3,000 meters above sea level, to explore its majestic cathedral, the impressive Monument to Independence, and its lively artisan market. On the return to Salta, admire the natural beauty of the Painter’s Palette in Maimara

Day 4 DAY 4 - End of our adventure. Transfer to the Airport

Start your day with a leisurely breakfast at your hotel At the scheduled time, your private transfer will ensure a smooth and comfortable ride to Salta Airport.
Flight from Salta to Buenos Aires and transfer from the airport to your centrally located hotel in Buenos Aires (if the flights included option is selected)

Optional flights are in economic class subject to availability. To include them, the option "with flights" must be selected. Please bear in mind that beginning and ending time may vary according to flight availability.
If you are solo traveler, you will have Single base occupancy; If you are two or more, you will have Double base occupancy. If single base is required, we can certainly quote.
The availability of the Train to the Clouds may be affected during peak season, as it only operates on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays
Rates do not apply to special dates such as Christmas and New Year's.
Please note that during this trip, we will be traveling through high-altitude areas. We recommend: drinking plenty of water, avoiding alcohol and smoking, not engaging in physical exertion (walk slowly and rest when needed), and eating light meals.
