Our family spent an enlightening afternoon exploring the rich tapestry of Tiranë’s history through its food and communist legacy. We ventured through vibrant neighborhoods, tasting local delicacies like delicious byrek and fresh olive oil while our guide shared fascinating stories about the city’s past. The sites we visited were iconic, each steeped in layers of history that painted a vivid picture of the communist era. The transportation was smooth, and we appreciated being able to easily move from one location to another. However, at times, the pace felt a bit rushed, and we would have loved a little more time to soak in the atmosphere at each stop. Still, the mix of culture, cuisine, and history made for a memorable outing that our family won’t forget. Overall, it was a unique way to experience the heartbeat of this place.
