Step 1
Beginning with an early morning pick-up around 4:30 am from your hotel or Nile Cruise. A comfortable, air-conditioned car will whisk you to the River Nile, where you'll cross to the West Bank by motorboat, before another vehicle takes you to the hot air balloon launch site. Here, you'll receive essential instructions and safety briefings before boarding your shared balloon basket.
As dawn breaks over the ancient city, prepare for a breathtaking 30 to 45-minute hot air balloon flight over Luxor's West Bank. Witness the country's striking landscape unfold beneath you, offering a unique aerial perspective of iconic landmarks. Soar above the Ramessum Temple, the mystical Valley of the Kings, the serene Valley of the Queens, the magnificent Hatshepsut Temple, and gaze upon the towering Colossi of Memnon rising majestically from the fields. Be sure to capture the magical moments of sunrise painting the Theban Necropolis mountains in golden hues.
Step 2
Upon a gentle descent back to earth. Your guide will then greet you for a private tour of the West Bank, immersing you in ancient Thebes on foot. Explore the Valley of the Kings, marveling at the grandeur of the pharaohs' burial sites, with an optional visit to the legendary Tomb of King Tutankhamun.
Step 3
Next, visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a stunning monument dedicated to Egypt's remarkable female pharaoh. Marvel at the unique architecture of this mortuary temple, which stands as a testament to her powerful 20-year reign during the 18th Dynasty. This iconic site offers a fascinating glimpse into ancient Egyptian history and Hatshepsut's enduring legacy.
Step 4
Finally, behold the colossal statues of Amenhotep III at the Mortuary Temple of Amenhotep III, known as the Colossi of Memnon. Conclude your extraordinary day with a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before being comfortably transferred back to your accommodation.
