🏁 Tour Itinerary: Exploring The Amazon Rainforest

Day 1: Manaus to Ceasa Port

At 08:00 am you will be picked up from your hotel and transported to the Ceasa Port, where you’ll board our speedboat to see the magnificent meeting of the waters of the Rio Negro and Solimoes  Rivers. The trip will continue for 1.5 hours by car on the highway to Ubim Lake. From Ubim Lake, you’ll continue by speed boat on a 30 to 50-minute ride (depending on the level of the waters during the time of year of your visit). Arriving at the lodge, you will be welcomed with refreshments as your accommodations are prepared.
At noon lunch is served. Afterward, there is a little time to relax and to prepare things for the activities of this first day. At 02:30 pm the group will depart by motorized canoe for piranha fishing, bird watching, and a wonderful sunset from the middle of the river. After returning to the lodge, dinner will be served at 7 pm.
After dinner, you will depart again by motorized canoe, this time to spot Cayman. Your guide, using only his bare hands, will capture a Cayman and explain this most-feared animal of the Amazonian rivers. There will be opportunities to get great photos of this beautiful creature.

🏚️ Accommodation: Tucan Amazon Lodge.

From 5:30 am-6:30 am, you’ll board a small canoe to witness the awakening of nature with the first rays of the sun as the silence is slowly broken by the songbirds and creatures that call this area home. At 7:00 am breakfast is served at the lodge. From 8:00 am-11:30 am, we will be Jungle trekking and your Guide will explain the flora, fauna and medicinal plants found only in the Amazon. There is also a chance to observe spiders and other animals. At noon back to the Lodge for lunch.
At 2:30 pm the group will depart to visit an indigenous community where you will attend an indigenous ritual celebration of dancing and singing. This is a great opportunity for photos and videos! Next, the group will visit the Vazea area of the Ariau River which is a great place to spot some wildlife including monkeys and birds. Afterward, the group will return to the lodge arriving at 5:45 pm. Dinner is served at 7 pm. After dinner, the group will leave by motorboat for a night safari with a spotlight along the river banks looking for nocturnal creatures.

🏚️ Accommodation: Tucan Amazon Lodge.

After breakfast, (8 am to 11 am), the group will explore local streams via kayak. Afterward, you’ll have the opportunity to not only see but swim with the dolphins, the wonderful and legendary mammals of the Amazonian rivers. This is also a fantastic opportunity to get once-in-a-lifetime photos and videos! After your swim, it is back to the lodge for a midday meal. At 02:30 pm we begin our journey back to Manaus with arrival scheduled at 4:30 pm. Your tour will conclude at your hotel or the airport.
