Get a real taste of Tanzania on this 4 Days Private Tanzania Safari which will take you right out to Serengeti, a great place to visit any time of year. You will also visit two of Tanzania’s most popular national parks; the Ngorongoro Crater, where you will have the best chance of seeing the Big Five, and either Tarangire National Park or Lake Manyara National Park depending on which will be selling better viewing of animals at that particular time. These wilderness areas are characterized by different inhabitant animal behaviors; however, you may see some exceptional attractions that will be sighted on the very specific park and never in another. As Manyara is well known for the tree-climbing lions, the soda ash lake, and its flamingos, Tarangire is widely famous for its high-density population of Elephants and Baobab Trees. Both Parks are home to more than Hundreds of bird species and a haven for bird enthusiasts in East Africa.
🏁 Tour Itinerary: 4 Days Private Tanzania Safari
Day 1: Moshi to Lake Manyara National Park
You will be picked up from your hotel after breakfast for your 4 Days Tanzania Private Safari start to visit the Lake Manyara National park, which stretches along the 600-m high Rift Valley Escarpment, and is a good spot for combining nature with adventure. The alkaline Lake Manyara is the Centre of attraction. Many water birds gather at the lake and more than 400 bird species are found in the park.
Its diverse vegetation supports a large number of herbivores and the carnivores ultimately. Some of the animals you will encounter here are the monkeys in the forest, giraffes and antelopes on the grasslands, and elephants around the acacia trees. Manyara lions, lounging in the trees are a great sight to see in the afternoon drive. You will have your picnic lunch and continue with an afternoon game viewing. Later, you will drive to the lodge where you will spend the night.
Day 2: Lake Manyara Area to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will drive towards the fertile crater highlands where the farmers grow wheat, corn, and coffee. You will pass the Ngorongoro Crater before you reach the plains of Serengeti National Park around mid-day. With short grass plains, savannah, thick bush, swamps, mountains, and lakes and with Bizarre rock formations called Kopjes where the ferocious predators are often found and Annual Migration of wild beasts, this is one of the central attraction of Tanzania.
Depending on the season you will witness the migration of thousands of animals for which this park is famous. More than 2.5 million animals move from one ecosystem to the other in search of food and water. On their way to Kenya, they give birth to calves many of which are haunted by lurking predators. Most animals lose their life while crossing the crocodile-infested Mara River.
But remember that, Annual Serengeti Migration is an unpredictable event, as it entirely depends on the rain pattern, but your guide will know where to find the animals and where to see them best. You will spend the night at the lodge.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Dawn is a good time to watch wildlife and so you will be up early to join an early morning game drive. You will return to the camp for breakfast before heading out for another game drive in the park. Here in the Seronera region, you will often see wildebeests and zebras in close proximity to lions and other predators such as leopards and cheetahs. After a picnic lunch, you will continue your journey towards the Ngorongoro Crater. Once you have reached the crater rim you will enjoy fantastic views of this 600-m deep collapsed volcano. You will stay at the lodge, situated on the crater’s edge or Karatu town.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Moshi
After an early breakfast, you will drive down the steep and narrow road that takes you into the crater. The slopes are forested but soon the landscape changes to savannah. Here the wildlife is just breath-taking and with a little luck, you can observe the “Big Five” – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard – in just a few hours. You should also see warthogs, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, and some of the more than 500 bird species of the area. After a morning dedicated to game viewing and a picnic lunch, you will leave the crater in the afternoon to drive back to Moshi, where you will arrive in the evening.

A deposit of 10% of the total tour price is required during bookings, The remain 90% you can pay us two weeks before tour dates or pay us by cash on your arrivals. We will send you a signed and stamped contract by E-Mail confirming the advance payment immediately after receiving your payment.
Cancellations 5 weeks or earlier before the planned tour date are free (Exclude transaction charges). For later cancellations we keep a fee of 10 % of the tour price.
Quoted tour prices include planning, handling and operational charges and are based on the current rate of exchange and tariffs. In the event of a marked change in foreign exchange rates, fuel costs or tariff rates and government tax, tour costs are subject to revision. Such increases will be added to the client final billing. Kilinge Adventures reserves the right to vary itineraries and prices, and to substitute facilities and hotels of equal or better quality if necessary.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all travelers to obtain coverage for themselves, travel companions, and family members to cover unforeseen travel issues such as cancellations, interruptions, delays, lost/stolen/damaged travel documents and personal property, medical expenses, and emergency transportation.

Kilinge Adventures is not responsible for any losses or damages of personal property, injuries or unforeseen expenses incurred by any tour member.
If you are not satisfied with the services provided by us or our partner companies please inform us as soon as possible during the tour or after the tour. When we learn about problems soon we are more likely to be able to fix them in a satisfying way.
Health and Safety
All travelers or tour member should be contact the government travel bureau for your respective country for information concerning possible dangers in Tanzania or East Africa.
During the tour it is vital that you follow the advice of your guide(s). Do not attempt to climb Mount Kilimanjaro or mount Meru when you are sick. If you contract a minor illness like the common cold shortly before your climb we recommend to change plans and for example do a safari instead.
