From Arusha City, we pick you up from your hotel with picnic lunch boxes at around 08.00 for your short, one-hour drive to take you to Arusha National Park. Arusha National Park is one of the smaller parks, but certainly a nice park. It is often skipped by the tourists who go to larger parks, while it is a beautiful park with beautiful scenery and a large population of animals. The park is 137 km2 and is divided into three parts: Mount Meru, Ngurdoto Crater, and Momella Lakes. After a game drives through the park you will do a guided walking safari. On foot, you can enjoy giraffes, buffalo, and other animals from a good distance. At the end of the day, we bring you to the Tulia Hotel & Spa.

Also, they will show us how to use a bow and arrows, collecting some tubers, roots, and fruits with the women or you will join the men for hunting. After lunch, we visit the Datoga tribe, which resembles the Maasai culture. These people are natural blacksmiths, and we will observe as they make weapons such as arrowheads and knives which they trade with the Bushmen. We will also learn how they grind maize with stones, how they melt brass, copper, or aluminum.
