From Arusha City, we pick you up from your hotel with picnic lunch boxes at around 08.00 for your short, one-hour drive to take you to Arusha National Park. Arusha National Park is one of the smaller parks, but certainly a nice park. It is often skipped by the tourists who go to larger parks, while it is a beautiful park with beautiful scenery and a large population of animals. The park is 137 km2 and is divided into three parts: Mount Meru, Ngurdoto Crater, and Momella Lakes. After a game drives through the park you will do a guided walking safari. On foot, you can enjoy giraffes, buffalo, and other animals from a good distance. At the end of the day, we bring you to the Tulia Hotel & Spa. (Accommodation: Tulia Hotel & Spa)
Day 2: Tarangire National Park (B, L, D)
Today we pick you up from your hotel in (or around) Arusha. During the 2,5 hour drive, you will enjoy the beautiful nature and landscapes. Tarangire is famous for its large number of elephants, baobab trees, and tree climbing African pythons. At the end of the day, we arrive at the campsite where the chef will prepare a nice meal for you. (Accommodation: Tarangire Public Campsite)
Day 3: Tarangire National Park (B, L, D)
On this day we continue with the game drives in Tarangire National Park. The Tarangire River has the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem and the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as the stately fringe-eared Oryx and peculiar long-necked gerenuk are regularly observed. After the game drives we go to African Glamping Camp for dinner and overnight. (Accommodation: Budget camping)
Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park (B, L, D)
On this day we go to Lake Manyara. This park is known for its breathtaking panoramic views, waterfalls, babbling brooks with clear water, and hot springs. We will do a game drive there all morning and after lunch, you’ll start the walking safari inside the park. At the end of the day, we go back to African Glamping Camp. (Accommodation: Budget camping)
Day 5: Lake Eyasi: Hadzabe & Datoga Tribe (B, L, D)
On day 5, we are visiting the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes. The Hadzabe (Bushmen) will teach us many things like how to make a fire by using two dry sticks. Also, they will show us how to use a bow and arrows, collecting some tubers, roots, and fruits with the women or you will join the men for hunting. After lunch, we visit the Datoga tribe, which resembles the Maasai culture. These people are natural blacksmiths, and we will observe as they make weapons such as arrowheads and knives which they trade with the Bushmen. We will also learn how they grind maize with stones, how they melt brass, copper, or aluminum. After the adventures of the day, we overnight at Lake Eyasi Campsite.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Tour (B, L, D)
We wake up early in the morning, have breakfast and we drive towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After a couple of hours, we will be driving into the amazing Ngorongoro Crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater in the world. The crater life estimated 30,000 larger mammals. After the game drive in Ngorongoro, we overnight at Simba campsite.
Day 7: Serengeti National Park (B, L, D)
Today we’re heading towards the Serengeti. As soon as we arrive in Serengeti we start the game drive until sunset. The Serengeti is known for its endless plains of savannah and forest landscapes. The park is famous for its migration involving about 1.5 million herbivores and followers. Thousands of predators are moving because of the drought in the northern hills to the southern plains. At the end of the day, we arrive at Tumbili campsite in central Serengeti where the guide will set up the tents and the chef will prepare you dinner.
Day 8: Serengeti National Park (B, L, D)

Today we leave early to go to Lake Natron and the waterfalls. Lake Natron is a soda lake at the base of the active Ol Donyo Lengai volcano, the area around Lake Natron is often described as having a desolate and almost lunar beauty. East Africa has 1.5 – 2.5 million Lesser Flamingos, representing three-quarters of the world population and most of them are hatched at Lake Natron.
