This safari itinerary is for travelers considering time and cost; guests spend two nights in comfortable lodges near the National Parks. Guests will be comfortable with available wifi, delicious meals, and access to a swimming pool. 🏁 Tour Itinerary: 3 Days Safari Tour to Tarangire, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park (L, D)
You will be picked up at your hotel in Arusha at 0800hrs. Depart with your naturalist driver-guide with picnic lunch to Tarangire National park; Tanzania’s third largest National Park & Sanctuary for elephants. Game drives inside the National Park. In the afternoon continue to your lodge for dinner & overnight.
🏚️ Accommodation: Overnight at Burunge Tented Lodge on Full Board basis.
Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park (B, L, D)
In the morning after breakfast part-take in a guided bushwalk. Continue with a picnic lunch to Lake Manyara National Park for Game Drives. With the Lake to its east and the Manyara Escarpment to its west. This park offers breathtaking views and a large variety of habitats – acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab strewn cliffs, algae streaked hot springs, swamps, and the lake itself. In the afternoon continue to Karatu to visit the market and surroundings.
🏚️ Accommodation: Overnight at Ngorongoro Farm House or Tloma Lodge on Full Board Basis.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Tour –Arusha/Airport (B, L)
In the morning depart with a picnic lunch to Ngorongoro Crater. Descent into the Crater to view the game on the vast grasslands of the crater floor. Spectacular animal life can be found throughout the year due to the permanent availability of grass and water. Local wildlife includes black manned lions, the highly endangered black rhino, wildebeest, zebra, elephant, hippo, jackal, and hyena. In the afternoon continue to drive back to Arusha/Airport via curio shops where you can grab some souvenirs to take back home with you.
