This pink becomes more and more evident throughout the day, peaking at sunset when the sun glows directly onto the Rose Valley giving it that fine shade of pink so many people come to see. Next is Cavusin, surrounded by a valley, which becomes gradually wider, called Red Valley. The houses of the village were cut into massive rock formations. The village is famous for its rock churches. Next is Pigeon Valley, which earned its name from the countless man-made dovecotes (Pigeon Houses) carved into the soft volcanic tuff. Pigeon Valley is one of the best spots for walking in the marvelous Cappadocia region. Next is Underground Cities, once a place of refuge for 15000 Christians. These settlements were of enormous value to the development of Christianity as they provided shelter and worship and were in use until the end of 7C AD. Let me just say that they’re a third party agency, that set you up with local tours. Avoiding the inconvenience of hoping you aren’t the only person on the tour….or else it gets canceled. But with this particularly tour, it’s always guaranteed departure. No matter what, which is awesome!!! (: Everything went really smooth, they have somebody you can talk to at any hour of the day, and they’re very friendly & help! The cave hotel in Cappadocia was just stunning to say the least! Definitely recommend, and won’t hesitate to book with them again 🙏🏼

Had to unfortunately cancel the trip just one day before the departure due to covid. Despite the short notice, we got the full amount refunded within two days, no deductions! That is what I call a great service! While planning the trip, our organiser Kerem took care of all the little details and modified the itenerary several times to meet our wishes. I will definitely plan a trip to turkey again and tour altinkam travels will be my first choice.

I can’t say enough good things about this company. From the start when I booked the tour, Karem reached out to me and kept me updated of all the details of the tour, flights, changes in schedules and availability of services due to the pandemic/ local lockdowns. The agents meeting me at each location were not only on time, but courteous and the guides were knowledgeable and willing to adapt the tour to my needs and wishes. I can’t wait to go back to Turkey and visit new areas in non – pandemic times. I would definitely use this company again.
