Madagascar Baobabs and Lemur Tour
This circuit will show you the most interesting biodiversity of Madagascar. Baobabs are giant grasses endemic to Madagascar. You will discover different types of baobabs. Without forgetting the biggest carnivore of Madagascar. It’s called “Fossa”. You will meet poor but still smiling people from the country. And also other unique flora and fauna of the region. The sunset over the Baobab Bay will be the highlight of the tour.
Day 1 – Arrival at Antananarivo (D)
Arrival at the international airport of Ivato-Antananarivo. Upon arrival, meet with our staff at the customs area. Assistance for visa delivery and luggage formalities. Transfer to your hotel. Accommodation on bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2 – Antananarivo – Morondava – Camp Amoureux (B, D)
After breakfast, moving toward the airport Ivato for a flight to Morondava capital of the Sakalava tribe. Arrived and welcome at the airport then transfer to your Camp. You will take the first excursion toward the avenue of the baobabs. Visit the baobabs twin, baobabs in love. Arrival and installation at your Camp before nights walk inside the forest. You must spot the fork marked sportive lemur, mouse lemur, reptiles, and insects. Accommodation on a Half Board basis. Morondava Hotel: Camp Amoureux

Day 3 – Camp Amoureux – Kirindy Forest (B, D)
After breakfast, morning visit at Camp Amoureux and continue to get the Kirindy Forest, this can be one of the most rewarding wildlife locations in Madagascar, yet it has only recently received official conservation as part of the Menabe region protected area. Although previously logged, Kirindy remains the best place to see a number of endemic dry forest species like the giant jumping rat, narrow-striped mongoose, fossa, Madame Berthe`s
mouse lemur, Verreaux’s sifaka red-fronted brown lemur, rufous vanga, blue vanga, Madagascar hognose snake and plated lizard…. Arrival around two hours in the afternoon. Day 4 – Camp Amoureux – Morondava (B, D)
Morning visit inside of Kirindy forest, Kirindy comprises some 10.000ha of deciduous forest growing on sandy soils of the western coastal plain. The tree species are similar to other western deciduous forests, with a canopy height typically of 12 -15m, reaching 20 -5m in more humid areas along watercourses. Beneath the canopy, throughout much of the forest, the understory and intermediate layer are densely vegetated. Tree species of baobab live here is Adansonia Rubrostipa, Adansonia Za, and Adansonia Grandidieri, the last being the largest of the baobabs, sometimes exceeding 30m in height. After the visit, back for lunch at the hotel and then a little breath before to make way for sunset at the avenue of baobabs. Accommodation on a Half Board basis. Day 5 – Morondava – Antsirabe (B, D)
Breakfast at the hotel, then drive back up to Antsirabe and continuation eastward to Antsirabe always through the typical landscape of the highland (rice fields, typical villages of the Merina tribe, rocky hills….).Arrival in Antsirabe in the late afternoon, installation in your room. Accommodation on a Half Board basis. Antsirabe Hotel: Eco Lodge Les Chambres Du Voyageur or similar.
Day 6 – Antsirabe – Departure From Antananarivo (B)
After breakfast, continuation to the capital (Antananarivo). : “Free lunch during the road, to be chosen with the Guide. Upon arrival in the Capital, check in to Au Bois Vert for day use. Before, to go to the airport, stop to make the handicraft market, along with the market, which we find all the local handicrafts of all the 6 Province of Madagascar, are all handmade objects; it must be said that here is the time that we can get to know the country well because we all find it there. Transfer to the airport for departure with our agent. Antananarivo Hotel: Au Bois Vert or similar.
