🏁 Tour Itinerary: Kanchanaburi Tour from Bangkok
Day 1 – Bangkok – Kanchanaburi (L)
Pick up at Hotel in Bangkok then depart to Damnoen Saduak, situated 110 km. west of Bangkok. Your journey commences with a leisurely drive through rice paddies and salt fields. The tour continues with a 30 minutes speedboat trip along a fruit plantation to see Thai houses and the traditional way of life. Arrive at Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Here you will be fascinated by boats of various shapes and sizes used by local merchants to ferry their goods. You can rent a small boat board along with the market for shopping in local markets.
Depart floating market to Kanchanaburi. (1.5 hours drive)
Then visit the world-famous Bridge over the River Kwai, a part of the Death Railway constructed by Allied prisoners of war. Take leisurely walks around town and pictures on the world-renowned Death Railway. Train ride on Death Railway through magnificent scenery, passing over the original wooden viaduct constructed by Allied POWs. Then JEATH War Museum I, JEATH War Museum bridge II, Burma railway museum, and Lunch at a local restaurant.

Day 2 – Kanchanaburi – Sai Yok Yai Waterfall – Lawa Cave (B, L)
Enjoy a boat trip upstream of the river approximately one hour pass the beautiful scenery of the mountain and green forest. The falls run from cliffs to Kwae Noi River. Lawa cave Explore the Kanchanaburi’s largest and most famous cave. The cave is beautifully designed by nature with stalactites and stalagmites in many unique formations. Also, you will witness the Khun Kitti bat, the world’s smallest bat.

Day 3 – Kanchanaburi – Ayutthaya (B, L)
After checking out, then sightseeing to Ayutthaya. Visit Wat Pa Si Sanphet. This is the most important temple within the Royal Palace compound and the original from which the Temple of the Emerald Buddha in Bangkok has been copied. Three outstanding Ceylonese-style pagodas were built during the 15th century to enshrine the ashes of three Ayutthaya kings.
Visit Wat Maha That The Heart and Soul of City from Artifacts and the style of the Pagoda, we believe that Wat Maha That was built before the Ayutthaya Period or around the 14th Century. One of the images which were excavated by the Fine Art Department was a Buddha Image in the Sitting Attitude (sitting with drop-down legs). This image belonged to the Lopburi Period. The Pagodas are from the Bayon Style or Bayon Period (compared to Khmer culture) which are built with laterite.
Wat Chaiwatthanaram is a Buddhist temple in the city of Ayutthaya Historical Park, Thailand, on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River, outside Ayutthaya island. It is one of Ayutthaya’s best-known temples.

Day 4 – Ayutthaya to Bangkok (B, L)
After check out, we begin sightseeing in Ayutthaya. Visit Bang Pa-In Summer Palace; beautifully decorated in both the traditional Chinese and European styles. From here, a long-tail boat journey takes you up the Chao Phraya River to inner Ayutthaya to explore the temple ruins within and surrounding the Ayutthaya Historical Park. Among the must-see attractions in Thailand are the palaces, temple ruins, and historical sites of Ayutthaya. This former capital of Thailand is situated 90 km north of Bangkok. The principal sights include the gigantic bronze statues of Wat Mongkol Borpith, Wat Phra Srisanpetch, and Wat Yai Chai Mongkol. A traditional Thai long-tail boat will transport guests between sites, and this tour also includes a boat trip to Bang Pa-In, a former Royal Summer Residence, which represents a fine example of Thai architecture. Lunch will also be served during this tour. Afterward, transfer to the Hotel in Bangkok.
