The statue is located on the Min River’s east bank in the Mount Emei region, south of Sichuan Province, China. It’s the largest Buddha statue in the world.

Wenshu Monastery, also known as Manjushri Monastery and Wenshu Temple, is one of Chengdu’s best-preserved Buddhist temples. It sits in the Qingyang District of Chengdu in Sichuan and home to the Buddhist Association of Sichuan Province and Chengdu City. Visiting this historical temple should not be missed by any visitor.
